The West
Pomeranian Business School, the first
private school of higher education in West
Pomerania, was established in March 1993.
Earlier, starting in 1990, the academic and
material basis had been developed, for a
new, prospective school, by running a
two-year school called Business College. The
experience gained during those three years
let establish a school of higher education
with good academic staff, a unique
curriculum and sufficient Financial
resources.
4000 people
have already graduated from the School and
now work in various sectors of the regional
and national economy. Our Office for
promoting WPBS graduates offers the
following free services:
The above
promotional services are offered free of
charge to all (part-time and full-time) WPBS
graduates who completed a Bachelor, Master
degree, MBA or postgraduate course of
studies.
City of
Szczecin:
Szczecin is a city situated in north
western Poland, there the river Odra meets
the Baltic Sea (through Szczecin Bay) and is
the capital of a province, the Western
Pomeranian Provience. It is one of the
largest Polish cities, with the seventh
largest population out of all the cities in
the country and is inhabited by
ca.420thousand people.
The city is located at 12 km from the
Polish-German border and 60 km from the
Baltic Sea. The proximity of Berlin (150 km)
is of great significance to Szczecin as
 it
is at present one of the most rapidly
developing European metropolis.
Szczecin has a
reputation of the "greenest city" in Poland
and not without reason. There are few cities
in Poland characterized of such richness of
vegetation, water areas, and convenient
climatic conditions for residence or
tourism. Only an hours journey by car, rail
or waterway divides the residents of
Szczecin from well-known seaside resorts:
Swinoujscie (with its ferry services towards
Denmark and Sweden), Miedzyzdroje and Rewal.
The towns situated on Szczecin Bay enjoys no
lesser popularity: Nowe Warpno, Trzebiez and
Stepnica.
